Closeouts at Bilo

I imagine this varies by region, but Bilo has some great closeout prices on gluten free items. This may have been going on for awhile (I haven't been to Bilo in the last couple of weeks) because quite a few spots were cleaned out at my local store. Hodgson Mill and Glutino were just a couple of the brand names. Check the "health food" or "specialty food" aisle of your local Bilo.

Whole Foods Coupon

Whole Foods Market is joining the rest of the grocery stores when it comes to coupons! They already offer store and manufacturer coupons in their quarterly publication "Whole Deal" but now they also have a printable coupon on their website for $5 off a $25 purchase. Must be $25 pre-tax. The coupon is good through 10/22/08. You could also use this at Publix if one near you accepts competitor coupons. Thanks to Saving in Greenville for the tip!

$1.69 Turtle Mountain at Bloom

Bloom is tripling coupons this weekend, Oct 10-12! There is a limit of 20 tripled coupons per day per card, but every member in your family over age 13 can have a card.

One statistic says 50% of people with gluten intolerances are also lactose intolerant. Turtle Mountain to the rescue! I did a post awhile back on printing coupons from their website for ice cream or yogurt, and now is the time to use those coupons. Just register and print...you can do it more than once!

I'm sure this varies by region, but Bloom has select Soy Delicious and Purely Decadent Ice Creams (from Turtle Mountain) on sale for 3.19 per pint. Use the .50 coupon from the site for $1.69 ice cream. The register also printed out a catalina for "$1 off one Dream dairy-free frozen dessert" after I purchased 1 pint of Purely Decadent. The only gluten-free ice cream on sale at my local Bloom was peanut butter zig-zag.
